Alberta-Gangwon sport exchange

For 35 years, Alberta and Gangwon province in Korea have welcomed each other's athletes, coaches and representatives in a friendly sport exchange program.

The power of sport has brought the two provinces closer together through a number of sport exchanges including cycling, swimming, cross country skiing and curling.

Tennis is the latest sport exchange between the two regions. From January 20 - 29, a 15-person Korean delegation, including up and coming young tennis athletes and coaches, will compete and train with some of Alberta's best young tennis athletes.

We would like to extend a warm Alberta welcome to the Korean delegation during their stay in our province.
