For your own safety and the protection of the park, here are
a few rules and regulations regarding visitor conduct.
Camping
A camping permit is required for overnight camping in Dinosaur
Provincial Park. The permit holder is responsible for all
actions of visitors and camping party members on the campsite.
Campfires
Campfires are permitted only in the facilities provided for
that purpose. Please make sure your fire is out before you
leave.
Hunting
Hunting is prohibited in Dinosaur Provincial Park.
Liquor
Liquor is allowed only within your registered campsite. If
you are found in possession of liquor in washrooms, roads,
picnic or other public areas, you will be subject to prosecution
under the Gaming and Liquor Act.
Motor Vehicles
Only vehicles licensed for highways may be operated on roadways
within provincial parks. Obey all speed limits and traffic
signs. Licensed off-highway vehicles such as all-terrain vehicles,
trail bikes and snowmobiles are not permitted in Dinosaur
Provincial Park.
Pets
Pets must be kept on a leash at all times and are prohibited
in public buildings.
Plants - Fossils - Rocks - Deadfall
Cutting, defacing or removing any plant, fossil or rock is
prohibited.
Wild Animals
Do not feed or harass wildlife.
