PDf Document (2 pages | 722 kb)

Because of its location in an urban setting, and its wide variety of natural and cultural resources, Fish Creek Provincial Park is an ideal learning site. Over the years, it has developed a strong focus on curriculum connected programming. Teachers receive assistance in planning their park activities with printed information as well as workshops. It is possible to book facilities or come into the park to use the resources in self-directed activities.

The Ultimate Insurance Policy!

By knowing about the vast array of our planet's living and non-living riches,
By understanding how our planet's life-giving processes support all life on earth,
By appreciating how humans are part of and interact with the natural world,
We will develop the skills and actions necessary to ensure a healthy
and vibrant world for future generations.
This is the goal of environmental education.
