Schools are required to have
a Guiding / Instructing Permit for the school year. Individual schools
can apply for permits or the school district can apply for one permit
to cover all schools within that district. If you have questions

Group Size Limits and Trails: Trails that accommodate groups of
15 or more people are listed by both Trail Name and Protected
Area Name.
All commercial guides and instructors and schools should
refer to these lists when applying for permits. If you have questions
about trails not on these lists, please contact the Kananaskis
