Schools planning a field trip in Kananaskis Country, without the assitance of Kananaskis Country Environmental Education staff or another permitted service provider are required to have a Guiding / Instructing Permit.

Kananaskis Country Environmental Education staff can assist with your field study in the following ways:

  1. We provide direct programming to students in field study locations throughout Kananaskis Country. If you wish to have our staff present a program or co-present a program with you, please check out our list of programs.
  2. We will mentor programs or co-present programs with teachers in order to provide you with the skills and knowledge to conduct our field programs yourself.
  3. We provide Professional Professional Development Workshops for teacher-directed program delivery.
  4. We assist in planning and conducting field studies, whether you are in Kananaskis Country or within walking distance of your school.
