Sheep River Provincial Park

Bighorn sheep, white water, and magnificent foothills characterize this area of Kananaskis Country. Sheep River Provincial Park offers vehicle-access campgrounds and campgrounds designed for visitors with horses.

Explore the trails and roads and remember to bring your camera since you are likely to see bighorn sheep and elk throughout the park. Return in the winter to explore the cross-country ski trails at Sandy Mc Nabb. Use the park’s campgrounds as jumping off points to explore the adjoining Bluerock Wildland Provincial Park.
