William A. Switzer Provincial Park was originally named Entrance Provincial Park due to its proximity to the town of Entrance.William A. Switzer Provincial Park is located 3 kilometres west and 19 km north of Hinton on Highway 40 in the province of Alberta, Canada. This is about 314 km (196 miles) west of Edmonton and 512 km (320 miles) northwest of Calgary.
